BRANCHES BECOME BIGGER BY STAYING ATTACHED
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself,
unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me.
I am the vine; you are the branches.
Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit,
for apart from me you can do nothing.
John 15:4-5 (ESV)
For the last two weeks we have been abiding in Jesus by reading His invitation and call to COME to DRAW NEAR. As branches our job is to simply stay attached to the vine. Starting our day with Jesus. Centering our lives around Him and the Bible is how we grow.
How have you been growing so far? I don’t know that a branch is really aware of its growth. It is just abiding. It is just holding onto the vine. Don’t get caught up in how much or how little you think you are growing. Get caught up in to abiding, staying attached to Jesus, our real life source.
Write your thoughts or a prayer.
Please pray that our church family would commit to and work hard at abiding in Jesus.
Please pray for the outreach event April 11.
Write down one thing for which you are grateful.
